The eighth Sauna Fest runs Oct. 5 to 25 with more than 800 shows, all included in the day pass. Its Sauna Village grows to 10 days and 10 exhibitors, Harvia and Saunum among them.

SaunaShare, Inc., the company behind SaunaShare.com and SaunaMarketplace.com, has bought SaunaNews.com. The trade site covers the business of sauna, which had no trade press of its own in English, and SaunaShare, Inc. plans to grow it.

CBP’s Section 338 list doesn’t include 9406.10, the code for a prefabricated wooden building. It does include 4409.10.90, where CBP put the tongue-and-groove cedar in a Canadian sauna kit in 2012. The line isn’t assembled versus flat-packed, and four CBP rulings say exactly where it falls.
Sun Home’s first indoor traditional models pair HUUM heaters with two-level cedar benches, while Plunge’s new indoor infrared cabins come in 120V and 240V configurations.

Finland’s summer factory shutdown is written into statute, not tradition. What it costs American resellers is a warranty call they cannot close for three weeks.

Wisauna, which builds by hand near Eau Claire, lists builds from $12,000 and an average commission around $24,000. It also puts an R-value on the wall, which is the number that actually explains the price.

The Estonian heater maker built its air-blending system on engineering research with Tallinn University of Technology. A new tie-up with Tallinn University, a separate school, targets the question the wellness industry usually skips: what softer, more even steam does to the body.

App 4.0 replaces everything: the mobile client, the server infrastructure, and the communication pipeline between phone and wall panel. HUUM told SaunaNews directly that this was not a patch or a polish. The multi-sauna dashboard opens a door for commercial operators.

The Canadian manufacturer’s glass-fronted indoor sauna line starts around $7,900 USD and targets the gap between budget kits and European imports. The Thermo Grandis wood creates real trade-offs against Auroom’s thermo-aspen and Kohler’s KLAFS-engineered builds.

One group of friends in southern Estonia invented the sauna marathon in 2007. Eighteen years, two Guinness World Records, and at least five events later, the orienteering-style format is now a continental phenomenon that draws thousands and showcases mobile sauna culture.

The WWE wrestler and PRIME co-founder showed a SaunaLife G6, powered by Saunum’s patented air-blending heater, to his 23.6 million YouTube subscribers. Saunum reached out and gave him the sauna for free, and he tied it to his father’s near-fatal heart attack.

Forest Springs Resort reopened in May 2026 on ten acres of Ozark forest outside Eureka Springs, Arkansas, with a Haljas Hele Single as its anchor amenity. Rooms start at $108 a night. The sauna and cold plunge are included for every guest.

The premium sauna lineup launching under Harvia’s 2024-acquired American steam brand is built in Sastamala, Finland by Kirami, the wood-fired hot-tub maker Harvia bought in 2021. The same cabins ship as FinVision® in Europe.

The Estonian outdoor sauna manufacturer’s first cold plunge ships with an integrated chiller, PUR-insulated fiberglass shell, and three exterior cladding options that match Auroom’s existing sauna lines down to the wood species.

The Estonian startup’s Hele Nano and Tarantula wood carrier both earned 2025 Red Dot Design Awards, adding to a 2022 win for the Hele Glass. Now available in the US, the Nano ships fully assembled.

The Estonian cabin maker is folding Duetto, a Finnish infrared specialist, into its product range. The 900-watt wall-mounted panels can be factory-configured on new Mira, Libera, and Aera saunas or retrofitted to any existing Auroom cabin, turning a traditional room into a dual-mode setup.

The 10kW Air heater is gone from the North American catalog. Saunum now sells the Air in 5kW and 7kW only, in stainless and black with a closed basket. For larger rooms, the company steers buyers to the Air L, whose lower rock basket improves the air-blending performance that makes Saunum heaters distinctive.

The Estonian manufacturer’s marketing materials now cite distribution to more than 45 countries, up from 35-plus earlier this year. A new partner called Suuda Sauna is selling the full Leil catalog to Italy and Spain, with base pricing from €6,800.

Families choosing senior living are asking about brain health. Finnish research says sauna belongs in the conversation. A high school student in New Jersey was the first to put the business case on paper.

Four years of winners, a sauna category that has crowned a different design team every year, and a submission deadline worth marking.

The Estonian cabin sauna maker held a topping-out ceremony at its expanding Tartu County campus. The new building is due in July 2026.

Lunawood’s new Cleveland, Georgia mill switches the Finnish thermowood maker from an export model to local US production and adds a domestically-grown hardwood line in Yellow Poplar and White Ash. It also puts Lunawood into direct category competition with Thermory, the incumbent with the larger North American distribution footprint.
The Estonian manufacturer has made its internal air tunnel a standard feature in all HIVE models, improving heat-up time and protecting heating elements from stone weight.

Thermory, which bills itself as the world’s largest thermowood producer, is betting on a field sales leader to run its US operation. The appointment signals that Thermory sees the North American sauna and building products market as its biggest growth opportunity.
