Therme Bucharest Offers a Winter Sauna Trip to Finland

Therme București is offering Sauna Fest visitors a trip for two to Finland’s Winter Sauna Carnival, with return flights and three nights at Ikaalinen Spa & Resort. The draw runs Oct. 9 to 25, 2026, and requires an Elysium admission ticket or upgrade bought during that period, according to Therme’s campaign announcement.
The promotion connects the Romanian resort’s October Sauna Fest with a Finnish winter event three months later. The prize stay runs Jan. 28 to 31, 2027; the carnival takes place Jan. 29 and 30.
Flights, a glass suite and two festival days
Therme lists return flights for two, three nights in a Lakeside glass suite, admission for both people on both carnival days, and entry to the two official evening parties.
Visitors enter through Therme’s receipt-registration page, scanning their receipt or typing its code, including the hyphen, then completing their details. Buying admission alone does not complete the entry.
The announcement does not specify residency eligibility, the departure airport, transfers, meals or the draw date. Those details need confirmation from Therme before entrants make travel plans; the advertised package should not be treated as an all-expenses-paid trip.
A Finnish festival built around mobile saunas
Winter Sauna Carnival, or Talvisaunakarnevaali, brings mobile saunas from around Finland to Ikaalinen Spa & Resort. Organizers say the 2026 edition drew nearly 1,000 visitors and that they plan a wider selection of mobile saunas for 2027.
Ikaalinen Spa & Resort, Sauna-Atlas and Löylynlyöjät ry organize the event. The published schedule has saunas open from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, with Aufguss rituals in the resort’s UTU sauna world. Visiting sauna masters Sigrid van Rijswijk and Job Verheijen are on the lineup. The evening program had not been announced as of Oct. 11.

From a home sauna to a sauna holiday
Therme used a different prize at last year’s festival: an Auroom Cala Wood home sauna. Its 2025 competition rules tied that draw to visits during Sauna Fest, Oct. 6 to 26.
This year’s promotion keeps the link to paid Elysium access but sends the winner to another sauna destination. For the two resorts, it puts a Finnish January event in front of the audience attending a Romanian October festival.
