The Schweizer Sauna Bund's Saunameister diploma, its competency level 3, runs on 10 days between March 9 and May 12, 2027, at Bad Schinznach in the canton of Aargau, with two modules online. It is taught in German.
The course includes two days of practical training with the aufguss academy Aufguss Roots, waving technique, essential oils, sauna technology, medical basics and Swiss legal duties of care. It ends with a written exam and a practical exam in which each candidate runs a structured aufguss.
