Howl at the Moon Sauna Co., the West Michigan mobile sauna operator, hosts a six-day Iceland Bathing Expedition for ten guests at a private waterfront lodge in southern Iceland. The itinerary covers Sky Lagoon, wild bathing in Reykjadalur and Þórsmörk, the Icelandic sauna ritual gúsa, and a mobile-saunagus session, with prices from $6,600 to $8,400 per person all-inclusive.

Howl at the Moon Sauna Co., the Grand Rapids, Michigan mobile sauna operator founded by Alisa Cardenas in 2024, is hosting a six-day Iceland Bathing Expedition from November 2 to 8, 2026. The trip is capped at ten guests, hosted personally by Cardenas, and based at a private 10-bedroom waterfront lodge on Lake Gíslholtsvatn on a secluded peninsula in southern Iceland. A private chef prepares all meals.
The published itinerary covers a different bathing experience each day: arrival at Sky Lagoon, wild bathing on a hike, a Reykjavík day trip and SaunaRave session, a mobile-saunagus session at the lodge, exploration of the Þórsmörk valley, and a final-day soak at Laugarás Lagoon. Optional add-ons include sound bath, Yoga Nidra, and an Icelandic cooking class.
Pricing
- Shared room, double occupancy: $6,600 per person (six installments of $1,099)
- Private room, shared bath: $7,200 per person
- Private room, ensuite: $7,800 per person
- Private guest house, ensuite, lake view: $8,400 per person
All meals, all bathing experiences and rituals, lodging, and group transport from Keflavík are included. Airfare and Day 1 transport from KEF to Sky Lagoon are excluded.
