The 12 to 21 kW CORE Pro keeps its heating elements in a service drawer, and two can run side by side at 42 kW for big bathhouse rooms. KLINT Solo puts the controls inside the heater.

HUUM is taking its CORE heater commercial. As Interbad opened in Stuttgart this morning, the Estonian heater maker pulled the covers off three new electric heaters, and the biggest of them is built for spas, hotels and public saunas that run all day. SaunaNews connected with HUUM as the show opened, and the company shared its launch materials with SaunaNews.
The headliner is CORE Pro, a 12 to 21 kW heater whose heating elements sit in a service drawer, so a technician can reach them without unloading more than 100 pounds of stones. Alongside it are KLINT and KLINT Solo, two tall, cylindrical floor heaters, one of which carries its whole control system inside the heater. All three are on HUUM’s stand, 1C32, through October 8, and none of them has reached HUUM’s website yet. HUUM also opened the fair as a founding member of the new Estonian Sauna Trust, launched at the same stand with Auroom, Leil and DWILD.
The launches cap a fast stretch for the company. HUUM OÜ, its main operating company, reported 2025 revenue of about €19.0 million, up from €14.7 million in 2024, according to its annual report in Estonia’s Business Register.
CORE Pro roughly doubles CORE’s output
HUUM describes CORE Pro as taking “the minimal design of HUUM’s CORE series to larger rooms.” The original CORE, which reached the US in April, is a residential heater of 6.5 to 10.5 kW that holds about 88 pounds of stones and is designed to disappear into a bench. CORE Pro roughly doubles that output. It comes in four sizes from 12 to 21 kW for rooms of about 350 to 1,240 cubic feet, and two units can be paired in a Duo setup for up to 42 kW.
| Model | Output | Sauna room | Heating elements |
|---|---|---|---|
| CORE Pro 12 | 12 kW | about 350 to 710 cu ft | 6 × 2 kW |
| CORE Pro 15 | 15 kW | about 530 to 880 cu ft | 6 × 2.5 kW |
| CORE Pro 18 | 18 kW | about 710 to 1,060 cu ft | 6 × 3 kW |
| CORE Pro 21 | 21 kW | about 880 to 1,240 cu ft | 6 × 3.5 kW |

Like the original, CORE Pro comes two ways. The standard CORE Pro is a bare core unit that a builder finishes with HUUM’s optional wooden panels, heat-reflecting panel fixtures and top trims in black aluminum or brushed stainless steel, or encloses in a surround of their own design. CORE Pro Black is the same core in a finished black aluminum casing, ready to install as delivered.
There are trade-offs between the two. CORE Pro Black works only as a single heater and cannot be paired in the Duo setup. A Black installation that needs HUUM’s optional 2 kW steamer module also needs a separate CORE Pro Black Combi casing, because the standard black casing has no room for the steamer.
A drawer brings the elements out without unloading the stones
Both models hold about 130 pounds of stones, and an optional stone cage adds up to about 66 pounds more. On a typical stone-filled electric heater, reaching a failed element means lifting the stones out first, then loading them back in.
CORE Pro puts its six heating elements in a service drawer instead, so they can be inspected or replaced without taking out the stones. HUUM says that means shorter downtime in a commercial sauna. For an operator who loses bookings while a hot room is down, it’s the line on the spec sheet worth reading twice.
“Spas, hotels and public saunas need heaters that run long hours and are quick to service,” Mihkel Ilp, HUUM’s CEO, said in the launch release. “CORE Pro keeps the look of our CORE series and adds the output and the service access those rooms need.”
The Duo is built for the size of today’s social saunas. Bathhouses built around big communal hot rooms keep opening across the US and Europe, and the ones that have been open longest are busy. In early results of a bathhouse benchmark run through two Global Wellness Institute initiatives, 14 of 16 operators open more than five years reported average gross revenue of at least $300,000 a month. Two CORE Pro heaters side by side give one large room up to 42 kW, and a venue with several hot rooms can run a CORE Pro or a Duo in each.
The rest of the options list is built for commercial rooms: the Duo pairing, the stone cage, the 2 kW steamer for operators who want a more humid room, and a safety railing.
CORE Pro and CORE Pro Black go on sale in Europe in the second quarter of 2027 through HUUM’s importers and resellers, with other markets to follow. HUUM hasn’t set a North American date yet. Its current US heaters, including the original CORE, carry SGS’s c-US certification mark, as SaunaNews reported when the new UL sauna heater standard arrived.
KLINT Solo puts the controls inside the heater
HUUM’s second launch is a pair of slim, cylindrical floor-standing heaters. KLINT and KLINT Solo each carry about 230 pounds of stones, which HUUM says gives soft, rich steam. A central air tunnel draws air up through the middle of the heater and spreads heat evenly through the room. HUUM began fitting air tunnels to its HIVE heaters in 2024; KLINT puts one at the center of its design.
Both come in 6, 9 and 10.5 kW versions for rooms of about 175 to 565 cubic feet. The difference between them is how they are controlled.
KLINT runs on HUUM’s UKU control system. Owners use a UKU wall panel or, with a compatible UKU model, the HUUM app. Optional heat reflectors let the heater stand closer to combustible walls, and a wooden safety railing is available.
KLINT Solo puts the whole control system inside the heater. There is no separate control unit to mount and no wall panel to wire. Owners set it with an 11-LED dial on the heater or from the HUUM app over built-in Wi-Fi. HUUM says KLINT Solo senses the temperature drop when water is thrown on the stones, heats harder in response and keeps the stones hot at all times. For installers, that means fewer parts to fit.
KLINT arrives in Europe in the first quarter of 2027 and KLINT Solo in mid-2027, with other markets later. HUUM says it will share pricing once the start of sales is confirmed.
