FinnFunn’s Sauna Village will bring wood-fired bathing to The Inn at East Hill Farm in Troy, New Hampshire, on October 23–24, 2026. Got Sauna, led by Mark Babson, and Cedar & Sol are hosting the sessions during the wider October 23–25 Finnish cultural weekend.

Friday’s private sessions begin at 4 p.m. and accommodate groups of up to eight. Saturday’s community sauna runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with two mobile saunas, cold plunges and a birch grove lounge. The organizer limits attendance to 20 guests at a time and says a saunamestari will be on hand to orient participants.

Visitors coming primarily for sauna can book quarter-day, half-day or full-day sessions through Got Sauna’s event page. Community sauna is included for full-weekend FinnFunn registrants; day-pass holders can add it for $5. Private sessions require a separate reservation. Guests should bring a bath towel, swimwear or sauna clothing, sandals and water.

Babson grew up with family sauna traditions in Lanesville, Massachusetts, according to FinnFunn’s presenter biography. His mobile-sauna work carries that experience into community gatherings. This year’s FinnFunn program also includes Frank Eld’s Saturday afternoon talk, “What Makes a Finnish Sauna Finnish?”, alongside music, dancing, crafts and a Finnish marketplace.

The venue is at 460 Monadnock Street, Troy. See our FinnFunn Sauna Village calendar listing for the schedule and registration links.

Disclosure: Mark Babson is a friend of the SaunaShare team. SaunaShare owns SaunaNews.
