Bathhouse is recruiting for a new location in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, with a hiring event planned at Table & Banter Market inside The Park. The company announced the hiring push in an October LinkedIn update, following the September opening of its first Philadelphia bathhouse.
The New Jersey project sits within The District at The Park, a mixed-use development combining residences, offices, restaurants and entertainment. The developer’s current directory lists Bathhouse among the businesses expected to open in fall 2026. Bathhouse’s hiring announcement doesn’t give an opening day or a date for the recruitment event.
A New Jersey opening already in the works
Berkeley Heights has been part of the company’s plans for more than a year. An August 2025 presentation published by the township identified Bathhouse as a planned 2026 tenant. This month’s update brings the staffing effort into public view.
The company’s New York locations are Williamsburg, Flatiron and Atlantic Avenue. SaunaNews covered the Atlantic Avenue opening and the $35 million funding round backing its wider expansion.
Philadelphia supplies the latest example
Bathhouse Philadelphia opened September 25 at The Bellevue. Its operating location page lists three thermal pools, a banya, a dry sauna with guided aufguss sessions, an infrared sauna, a steam room and a cafe. Day passes start at $29, with prices varying by day and time.
Those are Philadelphia’s facilities; Bathhouse hasn’t published a comparable room-by-room amenity list for Berkeley Heights in the hiring announcement. The Park describes its forthcoming tenant as a venue for saunas, plunges and community.
For applicants, the immediate detail is the recruitment venue: Table & Banter Market at The Park. For prospective bathers, fall 2026 remains the developer’s stated opening window, with a firm date still to come.
