Kouvola Löylyfestivaali takes over Kallioniemi beach in Koria on August 1 from noon to 7 p.m. Mobile sauna tents and trailer saunas form a temporary bathing village beside the Kymijoki, and cooling is the river itself rather than a plunge tub.
The festival area is open; the saunas require a wristband. Adults pay €20, association members €15, ages 15 to 17 pay €10, ages 10 to 14 pay €5, and children under 10 enter free.
Payment is taken in cash, MobilePay, the common credit cards and bank transfer. On site there are changing tents, toilets, paid storage for clothes and valuables, activities for small children, product sales, and food and drink by the railway bridge.
The same association runs a second, separate Löylyfestivaali in winter at Radalla Resort in Iitti. See our guide to which Löylyfestivaali is which.
