Two Sauna360 recalls landed the same day. Recall 26-784 covers about 41,580 infrared and hybrid sauna rooms and kits in the U.S. plus 6,758 in Canada for a fire and burn hazard. Recall 26-783 raises the Tylö Halmstad and Kiruna Hybrid bench recall from about 1,000 units to about 6,000, reports 77 more bench failures and six injuries, and extends the sales window to July 2026.
A record of CPSC recall 26-040, the October 2025 Tylö bench recall: five room models, about 1,000 U.S. units, seven bench failures and one injury. Superseded on September 17, 2026 by recall 26-783, which covers about 6,000 rooms and states that the original repair did not work.
CPSC Recall #26-040, U.S. customs bill-of-lading data, and a 2022 magazine interview with Sauna360 executives all confirm the same thing: the Cokato, Minnesota company behind Finnleo, Tylö, Helo, Kastor, and Amerec manufactures most of its sauna room products in China. Its consumer marketing says nothing about it.
