Equinox Puts Steam Rooms in Nearly Every Club, Cold Plunges in 22

Equinox’s own club pages show heat nearly everywhere and a full hot-and-cold circuit at a much smaller set of clubs.
Equinox, the premium fitness brand, puts heat in almost every club and a full hot-and-cold circuit in a much smaller set. Of the 124 club pages on equinox.com that carried an amenity list in October 2026, 120 listed a steam room, 42 listed a sauna of some kind, 22 listed a cold plunge and 15 listed a contrast therapy suite.
Contrast therapy suites are at 15 clubs
Equinox lists a contrast therapy suite at clubs including Hudson Yards and East 63rd Street in New York, Hollywood in Los Angeles, and Fulton Market in Chicago. Hudson Yards also lists outdoor barrel saunas and a hot plunge alongside its cold plunge.
Value chains are pricing recovery separately. Planet Fitness, Crunch and regional gyms now sell it as an upgrade tier or add-on, mostly with self-serve machines and dry plunges.
