Another 4 projects need their current status confirmed. These are counts within our reporting file, not an estimate of the total market. A project listed as announced may already be building; we require evidence before changing its label.
Construction takes different forms
Chicago’s Bathhouse has documented foundation work. Sauna Jungle’s Arlington release describes construction of a neighborhood sauna and plunge venue. In Manchester, Therme’s stated late-2028 target refers to construction completion. Those are different milestones, and each matters when following the next wave of openings.

An expansion is not a new venue
Philadelphia’s Bathhouse is operating, while its terrace has a separate early-2027 target. Finland’s Lykynlampi already welcomes bathers and is adding a third experience sauna. Both belong in the development picture, with their additions counted separately from the established business.

The next opening dates to watch
Sauna House advertises November for Summerville. SCHWET’s reported schedule separates October member previews from a November public opening. AIRE’s Los Angeles page now gives winter 2026–27 and says bookings are not yet available. These are operator or reported targets, not guarantees.

What we are checking next
The questions are specific: has building work begun, which milestone has been reached, when can the public visit, and what will be available on opening day? Where a booking link and an older “coming soon” notice disagree, the record stays marked for confirmation.
Every project page links to the sources behind its status. The tracker also offers a CSV download for readers who want to compare the projects themselves.
SaunaNews is published by SaunaShare, Inc., which also operates SaunaShare and Sauna Marketplace. This file is an editorial selection of documented projects, not a complete census. Methodology and corrections.
